Our team
We are geospatial engineers who have worked side-by-side with science and engineering teams for years.
Bernhard Stadlbauer
Co-founder
Bernhard was a staff data engineer at Pachama, where he built much of the company’s core infrastructure for geospatial data processing. Before that, he built planetary-scale digital twins at Blackshark. He is a core OSS contributor to Flyte. He studied computational neuroscience in Graz, Austria.
Felix Dorrek
Co-founder
Felix was a product manager at Pachama, building a suite of geospatial AI products to finance nature-based solutions to climate change. He first joined Pachama as an ML engineer, building some of their first AI capabilities. Prior to that, he was an AI researcher at Mostly AI. He obtained his PhD in mathematics from the Vienna University of Technology.
Noah Golmant
Co-founder
Noah led the ML team at Pachama, building geospatial AI systems to assess forest carbon trends with remote sensing data. Before that, he was an AI researcher at OpenAI, building developer tools to accelerate LLM experimentation. He studied computer science and mathematics at UC Berkeley.
Samuel Kogler
founding engineer
Samuel was a senior engineer at Blackshark, where he built in-house raster processing services for petabyte-scale geospatial data. Prior to that, he developed data processing and machine learning systems for Microsoft Flight Simulator at Bongfish. He studied computer graphics and knowledge technologies at the University of Graz, Austria.
